Drink enough water a day is one of the most important things we can do to maintain healthy body condition. But sometimes, under different circumstances, our bodies need different types of water to keep inner balance. When it comes to sports, there are a lot of sports drinks you can choose in shelves while you are doing the grocery shopping. Today, I am going to share some homemade sports drinks to help you keep hydrated and balance when you active.
Lemon Sports Drink
● 4 cups filtered water
● 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
● 1 or 2 slices of lime
● 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt or Regular Salt
● Add some sugar or raw honey to make it tastier.
Orange Sports Drink
● 3-4 cups water or coconut water
● 3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
● 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
● 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt or Regular Salt.
Watermelon Sports Drink
● 1-2 glasses of water or coconut water
● Blended or pressed seeded watermelon
● 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt or Regular Salt
Mix all the ingredients, and store the drink in the refrigerator. You can add some ice or fresh berries to create your own. Not only can these drinks and recipes help you reduce muscle soreness after a workout, but also produce an antioxidant that promotes heart healthy.
